Festival highlights

Original fireworks, crafted with care, light up the night sky to music from both banks of the Oi River.

Approximately 10,000 fireworks were planned for 2026, and the event is designed to be viewed beneath the open sky from the broad riverbanks.

The programs, previously split between the Shimada and Kanaya sides, have been combined into one, allowing visitors to enjoy the full fireworks display continuously.

A ticket must be purchased to use a paid viewing seat, but no information is available about fees or participation requirements for general viewing.

The usual way to enjoy the event is to visit the venue in person.

If you wish to use paid viewing seats, purchase them through the sales page.

For 2026, advance sales of paid viewing seats for residents were by lottery, while general sales were offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
