Festival highlights

Highlights include the danjiri procession through town by the five neighborhoods and the yarimawashi, a maneuver for which Senshu’s danjiri festivals are known.

Fuchu Town has narrow streets, and relatively small to medium-sized danjiri were used there during the Showa period.

Some of the current danjiri are newly commissioned, and the danjiri from Ichibe-cho is described as extra-large.
