Festival highlights

A highlight is the dazzling showcase of star mines and waterborne fireworks.

The 2026 event information described fireworks synchronized with music through computer control, offering a display that unfolds to the music.

From the beach, you can see the waterborne fireworks head-on, so the spectacle of lights spreading across the sea is as appealing as the fireworks launched into the sky.

During a break, an audience light display was also held, with spectators turning on their smartphone lights.

What to expect

Visitors secure a spot at Zushi Beach and watch the evening program of fireworks and music.

In 2026, the fireworks began at 7:20 p.m. and continued until 8:15 p.m.

The program included star mines and waterborne fireworks, as well as a light display involving the audience during a break.

Guidance is also available on viewing the display from sponsor-benefit seats or hometown tax donation benefit seats.

How to take part

Visitors can attend to watch the fireworks.

In addition to general viewing, the 2026 event offered general sponsor-benefit reserved seats and chair seats, hometown tax donation benefit seats, and business sponsor seats.

Seats were available online and at the Zushi City Tourism Association counter, and sponsor seats have designated entrances.

This is not an event that recruits performers to create fireworks or participants in a competition.

General sponsor-benefit reserved-seat and chair-seat tickets were available online and at the Zushi City Tourism Association counter from March 27, 2026.

Hometown tax donation benefit seats were also available through a separate booking process.

The entrance for sponsor seats varies by seat type, with separate FJ and NW routes.

For details on seat types and prices, see the 69th event information from the Zushi City Tourism Association.
