Festival highlights

The main highlight is the tezutsu fireworks, with sparks shooting up from a tube held in the performer’s arms.

Hundreds of tezutsu fireworks were showcased over about 2 hours. After pillars of fire rose into the night sky, a thunderous bang known as the tube’s “hane” rang out.

In addition to tezutsu fireworks, about 2000 aerial fireworks and set-piece fireworks were also featured.
