Festival highlights

The main highlight is the large mikoshi at Goryo Shrine.

The large mikoshi is decorated with a chrysanthemum crest and carvings of flying dragons at its four corners. It is brought out from the mikoshi hall for the grand festival.

The mikoshi's return to the shrine after its procession through the Yokouchi district is also a defining scene of the festival.
