Festival highlights
The main highlight is the tsukurimono, created with great ingenuity by each neighborhood association.
Works depicting people, buildings, and aspects of society at the time are displayed throughout the town. They are made from everyday items such as metal goods, ceramics, and gift items.
On the evening of the 24th, fireworks are set off from around Chuo Elementary School to the Kako River riverbed, offering a nighttime scene quite different from the tsukurimono.
