About 1,000 fireworks light up the surface of the Takatsu River, while their sound echoes off the mountains and across the venue.
The fireworks are scheduled from 8 p.m. to 8:40 p.m., and a highlight is the chance to enjoy the river and mountain scenery together.
During the day, there is ayu catching; in the evening, Iwami Kagura, a concert, and food stalls are also offered.

What to expect
According to the 2026 information, ayu catching starts at 10 a.m. and ends when the ayu run out.
The summer evening concert starts at 17:30, food stalls open at 18:00, and the fireworks are launched at 20:00.
From 20:40 to 22:00, Iwami Kagura performed by the Tsuwano Town Iwami Kagura Shinseikai is scheduled.
