The Mantō Nagashi is also held on Suimon River, with a variety of events taking place on the streets and along the waterfront.

About Suito Matsuri (Ogaki City)

Suito Matsuri is a summer festival held to express gratitude for Ogaki’s abundant groundwater.

Events take place at several locations throughout the city, including Ogaki Ekidori, Honmachi-dori, the station area, Kaku-machi Higashi 2-chome, and Suimon River.

Tanabata decorations brighten the streets, while dancing, music, and the Mantō Nagashi are among the events that define the festival.

It continues as a festival set in the city rather than as a shrine’s annual festival.
