Held for many years in Tondabayashi City, the PL Art of Fireworks Festival for the Founder’s Festival was a dedication event combining the prayers of the Founder’s Festival with a large-scale fireworks display. It has not been held since 2019, and there has been no announcement that it will resume in 2026.

About PL Art of Fireworks Festival for the Founder’s Festival

The PL Art of Fireworks Festival for the Founder’s Festival was a fireworks dedication held during the Perfect Liberty Kyodan’s Founder’s Festival.

It has long been cherished in Tondabayashi City as one part of a festival honoring the virtues of the first and second Founders and praying for world peace.

Although it was a religious event, it was also known locally as a summer tradition.

Festival highlights

The highlight was a spectacular display of many fireworks launched in a short time.

Toward the finale, an enormous starmine was set off, known for its sound echoing across the Minamikawachi area and for lighting up the night sky as bright as day.

In the past, the fireworks could also be viewed from the surrounding areas.

What to expect

The fireworks of the PL Art of Fireworks Festival for the Founder’s Festival were set off after the Founder’s Festival ceremony.

In the past, many members of the faith visited by large bus, and large crowds gathered in the surrounding area.

In 2019, amid concerns about crowd accidents and consideration for nearby residents, the event was run so that the fireworks ended at around 8:35 p.m.

How to take part

This is a religious event organized by the religious organization, and past notices stated that only members could enter.

It was not an event where the general public could enter the fireworks launch site; some people enjoyed the fireworks from a distance in Tondabayashi City and neighboring municipalities.

No announcement has been made that the event will be held or resume in 2026, and no call for participants for an event open to the public has been confirmed.
