Festival highlights

The highlight is the colorful array of flowers across the Valley of Hydrangeas at Hinuma Nature Park.

In 2026, around 30 varieties and 10,000 hydrangea plants were featured, along with “Hydrangeas & Umbrellas,” a wind-chime path, and a photo contest.

On event days, performances by local junior high schools, kindergartens, and nursery schools are joined by local specialty sales, food, and workshops.

Origins and History of Hinuma Hydrangea Festival

Hinuma Nature Park fully opened in Heisei 7.
