What matters to us about this site
We want people to discover not only well-known festivals they have heard of, but also local festivals they have yet to discover. We aim to create a site where you can find a festival that suits you based on its location, season, highlights, and ways to enjoy it.
The word “omoshiroi” conveys the joy of discovering a place’s culture and the curiosity that makes you want to visit for yourself. We respect the history of each event and the dedication of the people who carry it on, and aim to share clear, useful information for visitors.

- Handling information submissions and corrections:We accept messages from organizers and readers, and review listing information based on what we are able to confirm.
